TRENT BRIDGE: Statistical highlights of the second day's play in the second Test between India and England:

Yuvraj Singh recorded his third fifty against England - his 10th in Tests.

# Yuvraj's 62 is his highest innings outside the subcontinent. Against New Zealand at Napier in March 2009, he had recorded 54 not out off 63 balls.

Stuart Broad became the first bowler to accomplish a hat-trick against India in Tests. He is the 12th English bowler to achieve the feat in Tests.

# Besides becoming the first bowler to register a hat-trick at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, Broad became the first all-rounder to record a fifty in the first innings followed by a hat-trick in the first innings.

# For the second time in a Test match, Broad has claimed six wickets in an innings apart from registering a fifty -- the first instance being 6/91 and 61 against Australia at Headingley, Leeds in 2009.

# Broad has become the fifth English all-rounder to register a 50-plus apart from producing a five-wicket haul in Tests against India. He has joined Peter LeverTony GreigJohn Lever and Ian Botham (twice).

# Broad (6/46) recorded his career-best bowling figures in a Test innings -- his second instance of six wickets in an innings.

# Broad became the first English bowler to take six wickets in an innings against India at Trent Bridge.

# Broad has taken five wickets or more in an innings four times -- twice against Australia and once each against West Indies and India.
