# Yuvraj Singh recorded his third fifty against England - his 10th in Tests.
# Yuvraj's 62 is his highest innings outside the subcontinent. Against New Zealand at Napier in March 2009, he had recorded 54 not out off 63 balls.
# Stuart Broad became the first bowler to accomplish a hat-trick against India in Tests. He is the 12th English bowler to achieve the feat in Tests.
# Besides becoming the first bowler to register a hat-trick at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, Broad became the first all-rounder to record a fifty in the first innings followed by a hat-trick in the first innings.
