The future of technology - water powered cars

The future of technology - water powered cars

Scientists are constantly experimenting with cars which run on alternative fuels. One such example is ethanol made from corn. However, it isn't a viable option because a lot of the car components would have to be changed, and it costs as much as gas. You'll probably be surprised to learn that the government and car manufacturers are working on a project that involves water powered cars.

Even if it surprises you, this is hardly a new concept. It just seems new because it's a secret that the oil companies have kept well hidden. These companies would end up losing a lot of money even if one-tenth of the driving population started driving water powered cars, or those which run on HHO. While the oil companies would lose a lot of money, the average person could end up saving millions on fuel.

It's really quite simple. By using parts which are available at your local hardware store, you could convert your vehicle to a water powered car, and it would cost between $100 and $600. According to some people, most of the cars will be provided with such a system by 2012. Now that I've got your interest, how does the idea of running a car on a quart of water strike you? Incredible as it may appear, this could well be the reality in a few years. A quart of water would be equivalent to 1800 gallons of gas thus enabling you to drive your car for a month on just a quart of water. The best part is, you'd be able to get your fuel for free. All of us have access to water and as much of it as we require for our daily needs. In the near future, we might be able to use it as fuel for our cars too.

If explained, you will realize that the principle it works on is quite uncomplicated. By using the automobile battery, the hydrogen from water can be separated to create a pressurized gas. This gas, when used in tandem with the correct parts, can power the car. An added advantage is the positive effect on environment. Since such a device works on water, the emissions are considerably less. You can easily find step by step instructions or designs of models that have already been built.

Such a system can help you save a lot of money you would've had to spend on gas. You could also do the planet a good turn by choosing a vehicle that is eco-friendly and doesn't cause a lot of pollution. So it's only fair that you check out the HHO or water powered system.
