Uses of Electric Bykes

E.max electrical scooter

Problems like the one about fuel spills, depletion, carbon footprint, etc are very common things we hear in today's time, but so is using a vehicle is the need of the hour. Time is precious and speed is crucial. So where is the time to think less use of gasoline or for that matter pollution as a result of it? But yes there is one solution to the problem that the use of a vehicle based on cleaner technology and the perfect name for what comes to mind is electric bike.

The use of electric bike not only saves fuel but does not add up to much pollution chaos. And it is equally effective as normal two wheeler but yes in a lot of advantages. It is not just a pure technology, but also very effective in use. The electric bike is also very low maintenance, thus providing up to your savings. Another feature of an electric bike is that it makes your life easy, you do not always rush to the gas station and you can charge it at your convenience. The basic technology behind an electric vehicle is that it is battery powered vehicle, and can be recharged through a power connection when it is charged battery in the vehicle converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, and it's how you get your electric car in time. Also the most important element, an electric bike protect yourself against everyday rising prices of petrol / diesel and also it gives you zero emissions, which is to say no harmful gases like carbon dioxide or nitrogen dioxide, which reduced emissions, better deals for you as well as environment. Thus, electric bikes definitely have some advantages over the conventional bikes.

Electric bicycles in India is relatively new phenomenon. The conventional petrol bikes have dominated the market over the years, but the Indian two-wheeler industry is now getting geared up for this revolutionary new technology that helps reduce emissions in a big way. Electric bikes have been a very popular way of transportation for a long time in countries like USA, Japan and China, but now it is becoming accepted in India. Also electric bikes in India can change the face of urban transport coz it may help to limit the extent of pollution, and it works very well in the crowded roads because of its light weight design and low maintenance. Vehicles that run on electric energy is now being seen as the future technology.

An electric scooter bike is a revolutionary technology that has changed the face of two wheeler vehicle segment. A technology that cuts emissions to zero, which is more cost effective. Large parts of the electric scooter bike which makes it so effective is an electronic motor, an electric motor, an electronic accelerator, a battery pack and a battery charger. A battery pack is similar to your fuel tank, because energy is mainly stored in the form of a charged battery. A battery charger used to recharge the battery and it can be in the form of embedded and mobile, while a mobile battery charger gives you a convenience to take it and charge it anywhere. The electric motor on the vehicle converts electrical energy into mechanical energy and electrical accelerator used to send signals to the motor to the desired speed.

Vehicles that run on electric energy no doubt, are being considered better than the conventional one that runs on gasoline or diesel. But if Indian markets considered there are not many players in the market which has launched bikes or cars that run on electricity. An electric car is still a distant dream in Indian markets, though many players have plans to launch it in future periods; the only major player from now Reva. But in the pipeline, all the big names in the future would come up with electric cars. Electric bikes have seen better success though. There are quite a few players in the two-wheeler automobile industry, which now is out with electric bike. One of the most prominent and promising names in it is that the hero electric bike.

A Hero Electric bike not only boasts of its superior features but also comes with a legacy of the Hero group, which for years has ruled the Indian two-wheeler automobile industry. Also it gives a lot of choices for the customer to make decision-making processes. Thus among the hero electric bike, the consumer has options to select models such as Hero Ultra Advanta, Hero Ultra Extra, Hero Ultra Maxi, the hero ultra velociti. Thus you, the customer would have several options to choose from the kind of design, power, mileage, price, etc. Basically giving you the benefit of choice. A fully electric bike, with its various models also appeal to different age groups and sex, so to speak, if you want a bike for girls is a delicate design and a muscular one for the male buyers. Also, with a good color palette that serves the need for different kinds of customers, which gives you more options.

The Future of Technology

It is exciting to look into the future of technology. In an age of continuous innovation and invention, when the discovery of today loses its sheen tomorrow, it is not easy to pinpoint technologies that will transform our future.

Engineering and technical developments are everyone's concern, as they will not be confined to industry, university classrooms, and R&D labs. Instead, they will make a tremendous difference in our day-to-day lives. Here I will attempt to identify some of the technologies that will revolutionize our lives and our values in the coming years.

1. Quantum Computers
Unlike current PCs, quantum computers will have switches that can be in an on or off state simultaneously. The mechanism that will make this possible is known as superposition, and the switches are referred to as quantum bits. The system will make quantum computers operate very fast. A basic quantum computer is likely to be operational by 2020.

2. Programmable Matter
Scientists are in the midst of creating a substance that can take a specific shape to perform a specific task. The substance is known as claytronics, and it consists of catoms. Individual catoms are programmed to move in three dimensions and position themselves so that they assume different shapes. This technology is likely to have numerous applications ranging from medical use to 3D physical rendering. It may take around two decades to become a reality.

3. Terascale Computing
Techies are working on a project that would make our PCs able to contain tens to hundreds of parallel working cores. The device will have the capability to process huge amounts of information. To create this technology, Intel is exploring the possibility of using nanotechnology and allowing for billions of transistors.

4. Repliee Robots
Repliee is one of the most advanced life-like robots ever created. Repliee, an android, is covered with a substance which is very similar to human skin. Sensors placed inside the robot control its movements and enable it to respond to its environment. Astonishingly, the robot can flutter its eyelids and replicate breathing. Repliee operates best in a static condition.

5. Organic Computers
To further advance the computing realm, techies need to create a hybrid CPU that is silicon based but contains organic parts as well. The most promising progress in information processing concerns a neurochip that places organic neurons onto a network of silicon or other materials. Future computers will be able to bridge the silicon and organic spheres to utilize processors that incorporate both of these elements.

6. "Spray-On" Nanocomputers
The "spray-on" nanocomputer would consist of particles that can be sprayed onto a patient. It would monitor the patient's medical condition and communicate wirelessly to other machines.

7. Carrier Ethernet
Carrier Ethernet is a business service/access technology. It can serve as a transport method for both business and residential service. Ethernet will dominate the metro space in the future and will slowly displace SONET/SDH over the next 10 to 20 years.

Development sustains life. However, techies cannot afford to forget that technological advancement will remain inadequate in the absence of contributions from all branches of knowledge and will not flourish if it does not benefit society.

Our Future in Technology

The word 'technology' is often associated with ideologies about the future and the advancement of society. Although this statement may be true to a limited extent in that technology is about foreseeing the future, technology and advancements in technology are also largely about the present. For example, younger generations are now more skilled in the use of Internet as well as there being an increase in the popularity of computer games. Hence, although there are some negative impacts associated with spending too much time on the Internet and using the Internet as a primary source of research, the present level of encouragement for using technology in schools has helped us as a society prepare for the demands of the future.

Firstly, in an extract from a survey about Internet and schools, it was found that a "recent informal census conducted via voluntary reporting over the Internet estimates the number of teachers and students (individual and classroom accounts) in the U.S. using the Internet, either directly or indirectly, at almost 250,000." (Parker, 1992, p 22-24). Hence, the increased usage in Internet services has ensured that school-aged children are better adapted to meet the challenges of technology. Although use of the Internet has increased due to both growth in research and uses for entertainment purposes, there are some negative impacts associated with school-age children relying on the Internet as their primary source of research.

Becoming over reliant on the Internet for research due to the level of convenience may result in a lesser range of reference materials used for essays and academic arguments. Also, it creates a bias in terms of the amount of information found. For example, authors in societies that do not have access to the Internet may be marginalized due to the lack of this skill. Also, most Internet sites usually have advertising, and this may cause distractions to the student's concentration. Therefore, though it can be argued that the Internet has provided access to a larger range of resources and has ensured that communication is a lot more effective, it can become ineffective if people become too reliant on this source of information as their main medium for communication.

The debates involving the Internet are extremely contentious, depending upon the various views and interpretations of different members of society. However, one thing is certain, and that is today's generation are better able to adapt to the changes and demands of technology. For example, Washington Reuters stated that "nearly one-third of American Internet users surveyed said they go online just for fun rather than to check e-mail, read News, or use a search engine, a sharp increase from a year ago," (Reuters, 2006, p 1). Hence, this means that as a society, although there has been an increase in software engineering of games and programs, society has kept up in terms of spending time on the computer in order to use these software and programs.

In conclusion, today's generation has an increased ability to enjoy the benefits of technology and Internet due to the increased usage and reliance on technology. Although the issue is still debatable, as negative effects such as over-reliance on the Internet can affect the functioning of society, benefits also exist, and when used appropriately the Internet can ensure a higher standard of lifestyle.

RFID devices revolution in future technology

As the name suggests, RFID devices (Radio Frequency Identification) are used to track identification and tracking of the person, tools, inventory or products by using radio waves. They compromise of interrogators (readers) and tags (label).  These are small electronic devices consists of a small chip and antenna which help you to trail the person or products. These RFID devices serve the same purpose as bar code or magnetic strip at the back of your debit card.

Today a large number of offices and organizations such as warehouses, hospitals, automotive companies, Government are using RFID devices to track their goods and merchandise. Warehouses require RFID very often and it is important also because they transfer their merchandise everyday from one place to another. Hence, RFID devices are great aid to them. Government use these devices for maintaining traffic, the automotive companies require them for tracking product management. In some countries like Norway and Italy RFID payment system is equipped in all public toll roads.

It is a fast emerging technology which helps companies and business to have a complete business transparency. Today companies can easily locate its products, tools, inventory, and people and can optimize business processes. However, every technology has its own advantages and disadvantages, let us first discuss the merits of RFID devices.

RFID is indeed a great technology to track products and people. They are very beneficial for the armed forces, retailers, suppliers, firms and consumers. These RFID tags have the information on the products that can be accessed and read easily. These devices also help in reducing man-force, human errors and saves time spent in checking products. RFID devices are boon for the military forces and the army of many developed nations is saving a lot of money by using this system. By using this technology for communication and transportation, the Army is able to fix problem in a faster way.

RFID devices are great hit in retail companies as they improve their productivity and reduce labor cost. Companies which have a demanding supply chain can achieve a good advantage by using RFID technology. In shipping companies these devices can be used to view various components and calculate the time of each arrived piece of product.

RFID devices have made business world very easy and small as they have not only reduced their labor but also theft in the store and warehouse. The RFID technology is booming and many people are using it everyday without realizing the benefits that are receiving from it.

However, RFID devices have pitfalls as well. Companies like Wal-Mart and Target that are the large user of this technology face many issues. It has no proven infrastructure which makes difficult for the suppliers to meet the increasing demand of RFID devices by these companies. If the supplier is not able implement RFID devices into a business, then the retailers would not be able to view supply chain. The armed forces face a threat to their security from their enemies and terrorists. The tag contains complete product information which can pose a big risk. The enemies can get entire information by pulling off the tag which could lead to fatal consequences. The tag would give all the information regarding the flaws and strength of the armed forces and also provide enemies a view to attack on their weakest point.

A privacy issue is one of the biggest disadvantages of this technology. Other than this technological imperfections, cost of technology and no exact way to set up RFID system in a company are other pitfalls in RFID technology.
